Candice Fender's Portfolio
About Me.
Hi, my name is Candice! I am a 23-year-old Maryland native specializing in public relations, photography, graphic design, and videography. I am also an avid writer passionate about creating fun, new designs while honoring classic and iconic styles.
In 2026, I received my Master of Arts in Social and Emerging Media from the University of Tampa. During my time at the University of Tampa, I also received two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Advertising and Public Relations and Film and Media Arts. I am creative at heart, and I was able to use skills from my coursework, such as editing, software design, and filmmaking, to create my documentary, The White Queen of the Gulf, which won best documentary in December 2024 at UTampa's Black Box Film Festival.
Besides film, my other passions include traveling and exploring other cultures and landmarks. I love to see and learn the history of other places and my surroundings. I also love going to sporting events, specifically hockey and baseball games. I hope to be able to have a career in public relations or social media, working for a public relations firm, a film or television company, or even an organization with historical ties.
